Sesames Halva
Brief

Sesames is a premium halva and tahini brand from the Middle East, operating from the Italian market and selling to private customers and wholesalers across Europe. The brand offered a wide range of halva in unique flavors — from pistachio and pecan to cinnamon and hazelnut — alongside raw tahini and accompanying products. They needed a new, modern, multilingual online store that would reflect the premium quality of the products.

We built a multilingual online store selling Israeli halva to customers in Italy and Europe — with appetite-stirring design.

The challenge

Sesames's existing site was visually cluttered and disorganized — navigation was cumbersome, products were hard to find, and the design didn't reflect the brand's uniqueness. The customers, most of whom are from Italy and Europe, needed a purchase experience in two languages — English and Italian.

The brand wanted a site that would feel like the halva itself — warm, inviting, premium. A store that would make customers feel the flavors before they even order.

What we built

We built the store on Elementor — with custom WooCommerce that handles the unique logic of halva (sale by weight, custom bundles, choosing the number of slices). The design uses warm colors, high-quality product images and a Mediterranean atmosphere that invites browsing and ordering.

The site supports two languages (English and Italian) with seamless language switching, separate URL structure per language, and culturally-adapted content per audience. The store is fully responsive — adapted to every screen from mobile to desktop — and lets the team update products and content themselves.
