Webflow

Webflow is a no-code/low-code platform for building professional websites. Unlike more simplistic tools (Wix, Squarespace), Webflow offers full code-level control (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) via a visual interface.

Key features

• Visual editor: full CSS control through a drag-and-drop interface. Result: clean code, not generated spaghetti.
• Animations & Interactions: a scroll/hover/click animation timeline, no code required.
• CMS Collections: a built-in database for posts, projects, products. Every item powers a dynamic page.
• Ecommerce: full store with payments, order manager, taxes.
• Hosting: fast hosting on AWS CloudFront in a global CDN.
• Built-in SEO: meta tags, sitemap, schema markup, redirects.

Webflow is great for designing complex landing pages, agency corporate sites, portfolios with a CMS and blogs with a unique look. It's particularly popular in the designer community for people who don't want to depend on developers for every small change.

Limitations: lower performance than custom Next.js, and less flexibility for complex backend integrations.

Plans: Site plans for individual sites, and Workspace plans for agencies managing multiple sites.
